Job description

We are actively seeking a part-time Grant Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in procuring funds to support our film projects by sourcing and obtaining grants from accredited film grant programs and institutions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities pertinent to our studio’s projects and goals.
Craft compelling and comprehensive grant proposals.
Submit timely and accurate grant applications.
Manage and oversee the entire grant application process ensuring all guidelines and criteria are met.
Continuously communicate with grant-making organizations.
Track and document all grant applications, including submission, acceptance, and report submissions.
Communicate closely with leadership to ensure brand stewardship, detail, and accuracy.

Grant writing preferably within the film industry.
Experience in helping minority businesses grow.
Proficiency in additional languages.
A vast network within the grant-making and film communities.
Familiarity with 3D animation projects and their unique funding needs.
Able to assist crossfunctional teams for writing or editing purposes

Requirements

2-3 years of grant writing experience
Proven experience in grant writing and can speak to grants won
Exceptional written communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Benefits

$20 – $35 per hour, no benefits, full remote
